This webinar is an introduction to POCUS and ultrasound physics. We will be taking a fun approach to some fundamental and intermediate ultrasound physics topics. We will also discuss common ultrasound artifacts that users should be wary of.
By the end of this presentation, attendees will be familiar with the following:
James Day, RDCS, started his career in cardiac sonography in 1992. In addition to providing a scanning service business for private practices, James was also a clinician at an urban teaching hospital in the Philadelphia metro region. While at Thomas Jefferson University Medical College, James managed 40 simulation programs and taught all modules of POCUS, including anatomy and physiology, gross anatomy, physical exam lectures, gel rounds, resident orientations, Ultra-Fest in Philadelphia, as well as private workshops. He’s worked tirelessly to integrate POCUS into the medical school curriculum. James is presently involved with Innovation and the POCUS Certification Academy as a Global Ultrasound Specialist.
